CENTRAL FINE
NOVEMBER 27TH, 2022- JANUARY 9TH 2023
A hinge sustains the opening of a window and a door, resting inside the frame, discretely emerging as an invisible force. When we consider the openings and malleability of signs, one always looks back into the memories of the future. The Hinge examines the links between the symbolic and the real, the past and the present. Works made by these artists at various points of their life, are presented along new ones, amplifying the elasticity of temporalities and tension.
Artists: Loriel Beltran, Myrlande Constant, Jose Delgado Zuniga, Jen DeNike, Tomm El-Saieh, Viktor El-Saieh, Hunter Osking, Betty McGhee, Chemu Ng’ok, Zelmira Rizo-Patron, Kyle Thurman, Georgia Sagri, Constanza Schaffner, Diego Singh, Frantz Zephirin.
