CENTRAL FINE, Buenos Aires presents an appointment between the duo Yin Quan & Brahma, Diego Singh and Jiae Hwang. The artists introduce Kazuo Funaki to Buenos Aires from many angles, making sure that his black and white photograph stumbles upon a space of potency. Using many hands, many heads, etc., the group exhibition clearly attempts to declare that the other only exits oneself when oneself admits that inside, there is no room for anything else. Un hielito acá, regio, bueno... chausito.

About the artists:

Jiae Hwang was born in Seoul, South Korea and has exhibited her work in several venues, including: the Serpentine Gallery, London; the Miami Art Museum, Miami; CENTRAL FINE, Miami; the Astrup Fearnley Museum of Modern Art, Oslo, Norway; the Hessel Museum of Art, Bard College, New York; the Rubell Family Collection, Miami, etc. She is the Graphic Designer Director of CENTRAL FINE, Miami Beach.

Diego Singh was born in Salta, Argentina. He has exhibited his work at the de la Cruz Collection, Miami; MOCA San Diego; PAMM, Miami; the Fondazzione Malvina Menegas, Castelbasso, Italy; Braverman gallery, Tel-Aviv, Israel; Mendes Wood DM, Sao Paulo, Brazil; the Palazzo Fruscione, Salerno, Italy; Tomio Koyama gallery, Tokyo; Fredric Snitzer Gallery, Miami; Various Small Fires, Los Angeles; Galleria Macca, Sardegna, Italy; and the Museum of Contemporary Art, North Miami, among others. He was co-founder of Terri and Donna Gallery in Miami. He currently directs CENTRAL FINE, Miami Beach, and co-directs CENTRAL FINE, Buenos Aires (with Esteban Singh Caro and Gracia Martinez Arias) and CENTRAL FINE, Port-au-Prince (with Tomm El-Saieh.)

Yin Quan and Brahma are obviously a made up duo selected because they share a lot: they are deities, and as such, they can float. Brahma sports 4 heads, checking all angles of creation. Quan yin, exhibits 1000 arms, and happens to inspire compassion.
